Lily was born in Miami and can trace one side of her family back at least 6 generations in the state of Florida. She is passionate about showing the “real” side of Florida in all its beauty, with a focus on Everglades conservation, preservation of old Florida homes, and the wild spaces that are so unique to our state, and that so few know about.

Her time in New England, living on Martha’s Vineyard and in Maine and Vermont instilled a love of the region and especially the coastal marshes that alwys reminded her of the “real” florida coast.

Lily is inspired by the practice of seeing—truly seeing places and people—and interpreting this on her canvas. A longtime tarot reader and astrologer, she takes this same practice of truly seeing a person and brings it to her paints and canvas, exploring both portraits and landscapes with the same trained eye.
